My bro has the 06 TL Navi Dvd and my friend has a 01 TL with Navi running a old version. I got a 01 non-navi. BOoo. Anyways..

I'm sure u can't load the newer DVD expecting it to work, so are there ways around it?

Such as extracting the map/region files?
Burning a copy and removing any protection files?
Any links to instructions?

I wasn't able to find a thread regarding this.

i have never heard of it being done. i doubt it is possible.

 

The systems are different. I would be VERY supprised if you could use the 06 disc for anything. But, you can just put it in and see if you get anything. All you have to do is put the old disc back in after and wait for the system to reset. what ya got to lose? The Navi cannot hurt the disc.
