ive been searching and im sure the answer is somewhere, but i have an opportunity to swich my seats and all the door panels with all of the grey trim instead of wood and im hoping it will all fit without modding anything, can someone tell me before i pull the trigger?

 

i put this up in the wrong section i think, but anyways, i have a line on a full interior swap from an 03 to my 00 and im just making sure before i go ahead, that the door panels and seats will work without mods. TIA.

 

I think so, but you'll also have to consider there is memory seat buttons you'll have to work around I believe.

 

they will BUT if the 03 has the Driver position memory the other car will loose that feature and you wont be able to use it. Also the wiring is different on the seats but can be made to work.

 

how different is the wiring? i thought the tl's all had the same wiring... i dont care about the other car, its a part out unrepairable.

 

I don't think you'll be able to get memory seat to work.

 

as long as the heat and power options work, thats all i care about to be honest...will the plug in still work?

 

no the plugs are completely different. wiring it is probably doable but will be a complete nightmare. switch the cushions instead. use your original frame.

 

;ok decided against the seats, but got the door panels. all of the door panels are perfect fit with the exception of the drivers, which is the most important.

it does have the memory seat buttons, but the problem is that the main plug is a little different so i have to mess around with cutting and splicing wires. fuck.
