Can we replace our 2002 type s transmission with a 2007 type s transmission, or what other years can we use.

03-05( i beleive not 100% sure) Honda odyssey transmission
05-06 Acura tl transmission
06-07 Honda accord v6 transmission.

2007 tl type a transmission will not mate up to our engine due to a different case design

 

be aware our trans clutch prob carried thru 04 05 TL, before they made a major change and less problems

reports in the thread on oddy/accord trans swap are positive so far
average 450-750 for trans and about 500 labor- 4-6 hours
minor modding- swapping of sensors etc needed

If to get an 05 tl transmission you have a 50/50 chance of getting the new design. Your best bet would be to go with an accord transmission or 06 tl transmission
