I'm so weary buying cars from the northeast. They get the hell beat out of them. I bought mine from Philly - and it was in NYC for a while. I went over that car with a fine tooth comb before I bought it, and it's a gem considering where it came from! I got very lucky.

I sent the email to my friend, who is in the market for a new car.

 

it might be true that people beat their rice rockets here in philly.. but rarely do i see another TL being beat.

That's because I think most people who have TL's could be a little classier than the civic boys. I think we respect our rides a little more. HOWEVER, now that the TL's are getting older, some of those folks with less money may be starting to pick up the second gens.

God help me though if I see a TL on Buford highway here in Atlanta with "HERNANDEZ" written on the back window, and some of that Mexican tassle hanging from front of the ceiling, I think I'll just shit. Or maybe they'll put tires on the TL that stick out from the wheel well. haha

wow, i wish i had waited a little longer to look for a TL, i would have waited to find a deal on one with navi.... I WANT NAVI SO BAD (even though i have a tomtom) the stock navi looks so clean

exactly. i use my phone w/google maps way more than the practically useless navi.
plus the navi equipped tls have a little dinky antenna that sticks up from the roof killing all the lines.

 

i have the avic N-3 installed .. works and looks great. never paid for the update map disc either cause the poeple on the avic forums uploads the disc on there and u can DL and burn them. =]

 

I think my 02 Navi is one of the best I've ever used. I've used Porsche, Merc's, BMWs, GM's, Lexus and I think Acura's navi's are the best out there - by far. I love my nav system, it's great!

 

just got back from test driving the car.. didnt really get to look at the car's engine cause its dark but the rear right of the bumper is scratched and was touched up. front plate frame was taking off so you know how that looks under there after its taken off.. i test drove it . quiet engine at start up. smooth ride. i was doing about 70 on a 35mph street lol. i think thats how you test drive a car. well if anyone is interested i can call him back and ask for the VIN for you. oh by the way .. passenger side foglight is out but i didnt think that would matter to you guys.. you guys would prolly put HIDs in anyways lol.
