Talking 02 TL-P vs. 02 TL Type S

Before I start moding my NBP 02 TL-P, I thought that I would ask my fellow TL owners if its really worth it. I know that I would'nt even be thinking twice about the subject if I had a type s, But i dont. Anyway I was wondering if the TL-P can be as fast as a stock type S, if the TL-P had all the main bolt on mods such as H/I/E/UR Pulleys? Also whats the fastest 1/4 mile time that you know of from any modded TL, (excluding Dirtyjohns 2000 TL p which ran a 12.9 with custom heads and wet shot). Or whats your personal best 1/4 mile time. Well im looking forward to your responses, hopefully they so go for it.

Can you write that out for the NOOB's like myself? I'm curious as to what can be "bolted on" and how much they cost.

I-Intake, H-Header, E-Exhaust, P-UR Pulley. S for OE thermoblock spacers as well.

If you pull up against a type-s with those mods as well, you're screwed.

No don't worrya bout the p.s. and alternator pulley. You can't run the Crank and those pulleys together, it will throw things out of whack. Yeah you can get the whole set, but the crank pulley you ordered is different than the crank pulley in the set.

Hope you have an impact wrench or a REALLY LONG breaker bar. Takes something like 600ft/lbs of torque to take that crank pulley off. And I believe 207ft/lbs to properly torque the new one back one. Or let someone rob you @ a shop

Thanks...how much do these mods cost? In other words, if you wanted a full setup, what would the total be? Ballpark?

Unorthodox Racing sells their pulley sets with either underdrive or stock diameter crank pulleys - with an underdrive one it's the Ultra SS set; with the stock diameter one it's the Ultra SSc set.

So which one is gonna give you more horses, the Ultra ss or the Ultra SSc set? Wouldnt you want the pulley that has a smaller diameter so it goes around faster and catches quicker.

Not sure if the expensive headers are worthwhile. The intake prices are comparable between brands. The Comptech headers are $700 or so more than the others.
Underpulley the UR's are well liked by everyone. There are Ebay stuff for $25. In this case I would truse UR.
