'02 sun visor extensions - actually usable?
I have briefly test driven the '02 TL-S. One of the areas my current car sucks at is not having any method to block the sun right around the rear view mirror. Many cars now have these extensions like in the TL, although the new A4 goes at it a little differently using a fold-down flap instead. Haven't been in the I35 yet, the third car on my current short list.
But the extensions in the new CL and TL seem to be totally useless with that large auto-dimming rear-view mirror. I can't extend the driver's side extenstion without having to move the mirror out of position. Didn't even try the passenger's side.
Am I just missing something? Can the mirror "slide" foward to allow the angle I need but still provide clearance for the extensions? Maybe I just need to buy some shades?
Thanks,
Scott
