i heard that the new maxima will have 270 hp and if it does, it will certainly destroy the tl-s and the cl-s cause right now, the Maxima Se is a close loser to the cl-s now, and it only has 225, imagine how fast it will be with 260 or 270, shit that car will destroy us and i know that if it is a sweet ass ride, i will get that over the TL-S. I have already owned 2 maximas, i just didnt want a 3rd now, but with all tat more HP, i would get another one if its nice looking.

260 and 18's!! not too bad. That is some competition for the TL-S for sure. I like the look of the Q but the I-30T has always been kinda plain looking to me.

Recent Nissans are getting much better IMO, It seems as if they are really targeting the younger crowd.

So I guess the diferentiating factor will be interior comfort if the performance is almost equal. Too bad Honduh doesn't seem to realize this...

The maxima right now is 300 lbs lighter than our TL. The I30 is about 100lbs. The new I30 will have the front grill design of the new Q. Which looks pretty good.

The thing is with the Nissan's is that the power seems more constant through the rpm's, whereas the vtec's don't kick in until 4000 rpm, by then you're toast.
Yes, our tl's and the tlS will be done when the new maxima hits the streets.

That's a good sign - cars are continuing to improve, like they always have. The only regression was during the 70's with emissions and the OPEC crunch.

This type of post comes up time and again: "I heard the Awesome XR9000-X is coming out, and it will be way better than the TL!" Well, it better be, 'cause I expect nothing less than to choose from cars far superior to the TL when I'm due to trade up.

In October the I-30T will have 260 HP, 18's and the same leather that is in the new Q. Any comments?
