I've been looking through the forums and I didn't see any pix of 02/03 AM's with black housing for the headlights. Does anyone know how it looks? Or if simply cleared headlights would look better?

 

i've seen an AM with color matched headlights instead of black and it looks really clean IMO

 

black it out... it will look reeally really clean. just blacked out headlights today on a CL...

I like blackouts.

Clears are okay too.

color match it, if you're lazy just clear it, but it'll add another dimension to the front end

 

does anyone know how to pick out specific colors? is there a number code for AM that applies to spray paints?

 

search for it.. theres a website someone mentioned before that sells color matched touch up paint for a decent price

what part gets painted when you black out the 02-03 lights? ive read the DIYs for this, but there using the 99-01 headlights and when i looked at mine this morning, it looks a little bit different, or am i just retarded? dont answer that its rhetorical.

I agree, paint matching will add another dimension!

 

Are those switchback LED turn signals? Is it better to have those if I'm painting the housing in the turn signal section? Or are the oem turn signals sufficient without the reflector/chrome?

 

check for pics of my 01, its got blacked out lights on LGM the dark grey-silver-hint of green in certain light color
With the black lower grill- its the sweet look IMO

 

I got mine from Towerpaint.com (recommended by fsttyms1). It came out great even after sitting in the closet for months. Check my new HDR album in the newly added Photo Gallery and you can see where I painted my engine cover with it.
