What's the cheapest way to coax more horsepower out of my 225hp V-Tec?

put some headers, CAI (cold air intake), and if you wanna really pump out power, but requires you to pump out a lot of money too, get a Comptech SC (Supercharger). Don't bother with exhaust. It's strictly for looks, and possibly sound. It will run you about 550 USD, and give you 1-2 HP maximum. Get exhaust tips (3A racing), and save your money to put into some springs or for the equipment above.

good luck.

nitrous. If you are scared to use nitrous than you shouldn't be worrying about speed. Its the best bang for the buck power adder available.

umm actually there was a contoversy on this forum a while back, and I think you can use the Accord V6 SC in a TL. Fitment ain't perfect but you can make it fit. CT apparently now has a specific SC just for the TL-P.

Where's the best place to get a crank pulley for my 1999 TL? And what brand?

well, if you get intake and headers, you might as well get an exhaust becuz with all the air getting sucked in to the engine through the intake, you should also have the same amount of air going out. i think its bad since there are so little air going out when so many air is going in becuz the engine if filled with exhaust air waiting forever to come out
