What else do I need to replace with struts?

My 2006 RL has 170K on it and still has the OEM struts. The fronts are making noises and the ride is horrible.

I have been searching all the threads and have came to the conclusion I am buying the KYB GR2 struts to replace the OEM.

Is there anything else I should replace while I am doing the struts? Any common parts that everyone else replaces or parts that tend to go bad for everyone sort of like the center console issues known on these cars?
Rubber bushings? Mounting parts? Bolts that are known to break/strip?
Anything else I should do while I have all of the suspension torn apart?

It's worth jacking the car up and inspecting everything. There really isn't a definitive set of parts, but at 170k you definitely might need something else.

Be wary of the KYB. One member here got 30k out of his. You get what you pay for IMO.

Yeah I read where they got 30k but I have read a lot of others have used them without issues.

So we have seen a handful of people put them on in the past couple of years, and the average driver does maybe 10k a year. Don't be surprised when those recent installs start failing.

If I got 170k out of OEM, I'd be replacing with OEM.

I've had a few Hondas, and one thing they do right is struts. I've never had a Honda that I felt any need to replace a strut on before 150k.

I know when I replace mine (original at 130k) it's going to be OEM Honda (Acura) struts.

each car will have varied with mileage and treatment.
inspect your car and if anything is broken, replace!
check for compliance bushing on lower control arm, since it's rubber, it's likely to be shot.
