Worn shocks / struts?

So I only have about 92k miles, but I feel that the suspension has become a little harsher over the past year. Stuff like freeway expansion joints and other smaller, sharper impacts seem to rattle the suspension more than it used to - anyone think this is shocks and struts or maybe bushings? I never really noticed it getting worse until I drove my wife's little Fit recently - there is interior noise all over that car, but the suspension is very quiet. It has 110k, but new rear shocks - fronts may still be original, don't remember.

With that said, anyone done their own strut or bushing replacements on the RDX? Are the rears also struts or do the shocks just drop out once unbolted? I've done struts on other cars - I assume this is the same but curious if there are any things I should be on the lookout for.

I have recently done this to make sure my RDX was up to date with me. The front isn't too bad but the top mount is pretty deep so an impact or a hollow socket/rachet is a must. The rears are super easy. Took me about 20 mins to get done. Only caveat is to make sure the rear lower shock mount is tight. The kyb shocks were slightly narrower than the OEM so I had to tighten down the bolt a little bit more.

What was your mileage, and how much of a difference did it make for you when you made the swap? I was eyeballing a full set of KYB stuff online - not too expensive for what it is. Might try to get this done before it really gets hot out here.

I had one strut and on rear shock leaking. The RDX rode tighter afterwards. It was a bit sloppy before. Mileage was around 95k.

Stuts, Shocks, links

My '09 RDX now has 196,000 miles. I have done work on cars in the past... I think that the time has come for me to look into some suspension rehab... Does anyone have any experience with quick-struts, complete strut units?. Anyone have an opinion on KYB package? Is there anywhere online where there are drawings or photos of the suspension?

Thanks for your reply...
