i went with the 5Zigen zr+520 in hyper gunmetal, wasnt too sure thought it was too dark, but i saw those rims on a CGP 1g Tsx and it looked badass its a 19x8 +37 offset.

Also, does anyone know the approx. weight our the lug nuts? i am thinking of going with some forged lightweight lug nuts to help shed even more weight.

I will weigh them when I get a chance. I have a box of them. Probably 2-3 lbs total over all wheels.

You know...here were my thoughts:

1. Why the hell is his car on bricks?
2. Nice RIMS
3. ARE THEY 2 PIECE?
4. Finally I realized they're just next to the car...

Had me going for awhile.

Each OEM lug nut weighs 80 grams.
20x80gm=1600 grams or 3.527 lbs

The forged lightweight lug nuts i saw are .7oz each which is .04375 lbs x20 = .875lbs for all 20. So that's a weight saving of 2.65 lbs overall.

I saw these and see they have the wrong seat. I wrote the seller and asked if he had the flat mag seat Honda style. Negative.

But since most aftermarket wheels use the spherical or conical seat (not sure what the picture shows) I suppose that is not unusual to have only those and not the Honda flat seat lugs.

I know the PAX wheels use a spherical seat, so I guess the A-Spec people and the BBS people like me are out of luck

Shawn, i will but i have yet to find the perfect combo. I want the a-spec because of the struts, i also want the H&R's because of the drop, but i do not want to put the h&rs with the a-spec struts because i feel it will be too harsh for my liking with the RL, and at the price of doing both A-specs for about $500. plus another $230 when the h&rs come back to market. i love the comfort and feeling of driving this car, even though i had tein basics with my accord. I also believe once you go more than 1.5'' drop it affects your camber that much that you need a camber kit. I am also a big believer in when changing your springs, the struts should be upgraded also. I have contacted Bilstein,Tokico, and KYB about applications for our cars and i got responses somewhere along the lines about not enough interest, and whether it would be worth manufacturing. I am actually looking for a spring to give me a drop of about 1.25'' all around, and i'm actually trying to see if i can get the a-spec springs to do that for me.

i have the a-spec / H&R and i love it. I have massive speed bumps in my neighborhood that i can barely get over but besides that they are great! However.... sometimes i do wish i was lower

that's another thing, the drop with the h&r's might be a little too much for me, especially with the a-spec kit.

Uh.. I don't think it's gonna snow anymore... But better safe than sorry.

Also, I'm doing A-Spec susp. and IF I feel the need to go lower, or that it's not as good as I thought, I'll have the struts already and can get HR spring... Although, I'm not terribly concerned with lowering the car if it effects the comfortable ride the RL provides.. that's why I'll compromise with A-Spec susp. which I think will get me 1 full + inch lower in the long run.

Have you taken off your stock wheel to see if they clear the caliper? Also i would go with the best and get some teins.

They clear the calipers, confirmed it with 5zigen themselves. This offset and size is also listed to clear the LS460 and celsior calipers. Also the +37 offset for different lug patterns are also listed to clear Mitsu,Toyota, and nissan's brembo calipers. A lot of people may go with the Tein's but imo i can't justify spending $2300. for a suspension. That price includes the EDFC.

so the wheels have been on the car for the past week, and besides for the fact after taking to 2 different places to have it balanced twice then find out i need hub rings which they sent me for free..anyways here are some pics with them on the car from Sunday's meet

Sold the pirelli's and went with Yokohama S.drive in 245/40/19 the most quiet tires i've owned.
