a spec and wheel alignment

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I could not find anything when I did a search.

Is a wheel alignment needed after having the a-spec suspension installed or are people having it done more as a precautionary measure? I am thinking of having the a-spec installed on my 07 RL and just want to have an idea what all is involved.

Thanks!!

The alignment specs are different on the A-Spec suspension, so yes.

It's debatable when the alignment needs done, though. Some say to get it done right away, and others say to wait a couple of weeks for the new springs to settle before having it done.

I have had the A-Spec on a TL and now, the RL. I had the alignment done at the time of the original install both times and have had no issues with unusual tire wear.

HTH!

That helps a quite a bit! I took my car in for the A1 service today and was getting the pricing on the A-spec suspension and installation and forgot to ask about the alignment. I think
I will just have the alignment done when I have the install done.

I figured this would be the best place to ask.

Just need to set up a time to do it when we get back from our trip!
