maybe we have different definitions of aggressive here. Cant speak for which one traffic* was looking for, but I am yet to see any sort of aggressive fitment on an rl, while there are plenty with some aggressive styling. as far as fitment, the most aggressive I've seen personally was some 19x8.5 +40's... quite weak. so naturally i feel a need to do moar wide, and moar low. If you can show me some clean, fitted rl's with proper stance please do, cuz I havnt found em and I'd love some inspiration. I'd love to check the photo gallery too but I dont have such grand privileges, seeing as how I joined the day before yesterday

DXplicitOne you totally called it there, I cant wait for my flame vinyl and 20" TSW's to get in so i can look super kool and kustom. :shakehead

I know what I want, and what I'm doing, just because I'm new here doesnt make me a complete jackass, fair enough?

One member dropped in a Comptech SC - about as aggressive as it gets here.

Ditto: if you want aggressive, it's the supercharged RL. That's aggressive. 22" rims you can't drive over a curb cut with aren't aggro, they ghetto.

Well...I went with an agressive wheel 32 offset at standard 18" size it has destroyed the wheel liner in the back.

I don't see this car low and wide without tearing up pieces. FYI my fenders were rolled stock.

I'm dropped 1.5"/1.4" so unless you remove the wheel liner your self, the wheels will do it for you.

and thats all I'm saying BlazingGT, there arent any aggressively stanced RL's when i think its an amazing platform. plenty of sick RL's here, but none stanced. and 037 how wide was that +32 18? and the tire size? the wheels I want to go with will take up no more room on the inside than stocks, its all poking out, which is what it needs

I'll still have to remove some of the outer liner where it meets the fender and qp, and re-engineer a way for it to stay in place, clearance is gonna be tightttt... but thats just what comes with the territory. like i said just give me some time, i plan to make it proper.

well make sure you post pictures when your done because we would all love to see your idea of aggressively stanced on your RL. With proper suspention and quality rims and tires it is not cheep to do it right!!
Good luck

the tires are and rims are to OEM specs exclusing the offset at 245-45/18 on 8" wide rim.

man you guys coming down hard in here. We all got different tastes. I mean if he wants to stick like some 10.5 in the rear and 9.5 in the fronts with offsets in the 20's then more power to him

gonna need some coilover setups, camber kits, pulling and stretching and this is before the price of the wheels which if your doing it right wil probably be in the 2500+ range.

not many here want to spend 5-7 grand just to get they're "stance" on point.

While I can appreciate the "stance" styles, I personally like to drive my car.

i love driving the car too, but to me the look is more important than ride quality or the best handling setup. that being said i refuse to take it too far. i.e. no staggered fitment, impossible offset, or excessive camber as it is my daily beater, but youve got a pretty good idea though coils, camber kit, 9.5s, stretch, etc...

ive priced out everything and its not out of the question... just a matter of time. ill be sure to post up as the mods come in

well they don't really suit the car when you look at it from the front but with a lesser offset they are the best wheels i have seen yet!! How much did they run you?

Ambig by far has the most aggressive setup for the poke and stretch crowd. It doesnt suit everybody's liking (but what does) but you cant knock that it doesnt look good and was well executed on an RL. The RL itself is a bitch to work with because of the lack of wheel options at a reasonable price, you can surely have a set made for you but to find something off the shelf to slap on the car isnt the easiest thing to do as most offshelf wheels are super conservative or geared toward the 5x114 crowd. Dropping the car super deep really isnt too easy either with limited suspension options, coilovers is going to bring you down the lowest unless you do the additional front shock mod i performed on my own car to do springs/ shock combo and yield about a 2.5" drop but the big problem there is trying to level out the camber and not wear the crap out of your tires because there are no camber correction kits for our cars and after looking at it further no rig that you can do to over come that issue either. Welcome to the board and good luck with your car but to do anything out of the norm regarding wheels and suspension its going to be challenging and costly so have the patience and the credit card to back up your goals. Apologize with the first post but you originally came on here speaking as if nobody had a clue how to mod the RL and there honestly are a small group of guys on here who do have some nice mods but its also because this isnt a G35, 350Z, or Lexus LS forum either where the after market caters to them.
