Day after the drop on H&R's

Front Rim XXR 502 20x8.5

Rear shoes, 20x10.5 +35 offset..no rub

Full view

Sorry this was off my old sony cybershot. Will post better pics when i have the better camera, and when its not 98 degrees and humid in the Chi. tried to get the skyline backdrop but will probably look better at night. Ill try to take better pics to show the staggered look.

things to do:
Intake
Exhaust
Paint Calipers
Aspec or Mugen Front Lip
Aspec Rear Spoiler
Custom Rear Box for two Alpine 10s

Done so far:
H&R Springs
2 Alpine type R 10's
Infiniti Amp
XXR 502 20x8.5 Front 20x10.5 Rear

I do need to get rid of the swirls and the water marks, did some clay bar last week might have to run it through another round. Once I get a great detail and finish the calipers I'll post more. I also have to get rid of some of the chrome trim. Will try to do it this sunday if its not too hot.

Nice work! Very classy look! Chicago skyline makes Austin look like a small town. Guess that's the difference between #3 and #17 largest cities in the USA! Still, that blows Houston's skyline away at #4.

Why get rid of the chrome trim? I think it looks great. I like the tint.

Wig has the ride changed? First to H&R, then to 20's. I'm thinking of doing both but with 19's but am afraid of ride quality.

to be honest, the first few days after the H&R were similar to stock, it was hard to notice until it settled. Once it settled it was really noticeable and bouncier. I know its hard to believe but after I put the rims on, the ride was VERY VERY similar to stock the biggest difference is that the steering is amazing and handling is so much better. I was just afraid because of the stretch tire in the back I drive extremely slow and avoid every single bump, idle through train tracks (which people behind me hate, but who cares) Definitely idle through speed bumps but according to ambiguous he said he drives normal and just slows or avoids potholes, but im just scared...Chicago is a hard place to drive in...if your thinking about it...dont...just do it...its the best thing ive done and i love looking at it everyday...the only thing is, you want to do more and more after a change haha..as for the chrome im going to use plasti-dip which if i dont like, its a rubber like substance that can peel off. My friend blacked out most his chrome on his C300 and it looks so much cleaner..only reason why...if i do it, ill post pics up

Car looks great..

What tire size are you running front and rear?

Did you have to roll your rear fenders?

Also if you have any rear end/angle shots please share...

i don't get it ... on 17s... it was bouncy but on 20s it was like OEM?? it should be the other way around?

what do you think the ride / handling was like with H&Rs on the OEM 17s?

were your tires garbage / worn out?

I would think that just adding H&Rs would firm things up, flatten cornering, but not make it bouncy.. unless you had high mileage / worn struts that blew out?

any answers on the above questions? because i agree it shouldnt be bouncy with stock wheels unless with the shocks are out.

dam i loves the wheel set up. its just a sham that because of the awd we cant run staggered, well let me rephrase that, its not recommended because i know we can and looks sick staggered.
