I am about to list the 08 full A-SPEC NBP w/ Tech Package on Autotrader, she has 34,xxx miles on her and absolutely spotless- KBB has her at about 28k, given what she is dress with wanted some feedback. I will probably list it Saturday- but wanted to get an idea of what you guys would throw out there- with FIRM next to it. Showroom quality- clean everything-

I believe that I am in a position to make some money on the sell, enough to list it and see what happens. I am going to list it @ 33K wanted some feedback. All it takes is one person, (and I am in a great market here) who wants / has been looking for an RL and the Rareness of the vehicle could land the asking price. I figure with KBB having it at 28- then adding in the Complete A-SPEC dress-New Michelines- Chrome A-SPEC's, going to see if I get any bites-

a problem with selling an RL is that whatever you get next will probably not be as reliable even if the looks and power improve.

what's your next step after sale? I was thinking Porsche if money is no object in terms of reliability

Cars dont even sell at KBB anymore, typically lower.

But never hurts to try.

Good luck with the sale, but I think $33k is too high if KBB value is $28k. Couldn't I buy a $28k car and have a brand new aspec kit + wheels + tires for less than $5k? The second those parts came out of their boxes, the lost their value. It sound like you are trying to get back their new price or more. Like I said, best of luck on the sale, but don't be surprised if you have to come down to $30k. I know it's worth more than that to you, but it's really only worth what someone will pay you for it.

i am definatley looking to remain w/in the Honda family- thats all ive owned and cross-shopped (BMW-Infinity) HARD before pulling the trigger on this RL just 5 short months ago. As crazy as it sounds- probably another CPO RL, the ONLY reason i am even listing it bc if the right person wants it bad enough at the 33k- the profit is worth it-

How awkward would it be if some one bought it, joined AZine, and found this thread? THAT would be priceless!

I'm not saying you should feel bad by any means. I was saying more that we are having a conversation about a potential owner's car without their knowledge. If they come here and we can recognize the car, we will all know something that they are unaware of. I think if I bought the car at $33k and them stumbled upon this thread, I would feel foolish. Seeing how I'm not buying this car, if that does happen to someone else, I will laugh. I don't think you are wrong for trying; I think the scenario is comical. It reminds me of the saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted."

now how funny would it be if seller got his 33k got the next car and had nothing but problems...there's a thought!

buying a car is a headache, I would settle for what I had and added noise to it

haha- i feel what you are saying- at the same time: KBB has my car as a private party listing in excellent condition (which it is. ) at $30,485. Now, add the Chrome A-SPEC's, New Michelin tires, Complete A-SPEC body kit- I firmly believe 33K is a fair price. Time will tell if the potential buyer sees it the same way

I'd list it for at most, $30K, but it can't hurt to try it out if you think you can get more. Like you said, all it takes is one special buyer.

I'd be surprised if you get that much. That's 09+ price point, and most buyers will get the newer ones over our older ones. 99.9% of RL buyers won't give a crap if it's got aspec because they have no clue what it is.. Good luck though ... It only takes one person...and someone will appreciate it as it is a sweet rl.

What are you buying to replace it????
