Carbon Legend. Strobist shoot

Here are some decent pictures of the car. the car is going into the body shop next week. has quite a few rock chips on the hood and bumper. Aspec Front lip going on. and headlights are getting a serious make over.

Still Looks pretty damn good after 114K on the clock

yes i am the photographer. its my 2nd job. plan on doing a better shoot after paint and good buff to make her really sparkle. Maybe do a Natural Light shoot as well. i just like playing with shadows alot. was the first time i really sat down and did a shoot with a car no model or anything. usually the girl is the focal point

Nice work! Although, you have me questioning what your user name stands for..

I like the rims too, and I don't usually like black rims.

I tried to look at the EXIF data, but there is none.
What kind of cam did you shoot with?

i was going to purchase a Lakeshore silver RL but i couldnt pass up the deal on this car. i wish i could change my user name to carbon legend.

I shot with a Canon 5D MKII with 24-70 2.8L and 70-200 2.8L IS USM II with 4 Canon 580 EXII flashes triggered with Pocket wizards

Nice series of photos you got there sir. I'm a amateur photographer and shooting with natural lights is the way to go. Have you use strobes lights. I may do that on my next photoshoot once I receive my next mod. Do you shoot in RAW? I love the photo with shadows.
Congratulations...../

I don't do much natural light shooting. strobes are a must most of the time for me. And raw is the only way to go for me, so much easier when editing compared to Jpeg

I'm looking at photos again from calibrated monitor and the light looks a little harst. Did you had the flashlights on half power or too close to the vehicle. I'd try lower one stop down aperture but since you're shooting in RAW you can fix that on photoshop. Just my 2 cents.

Hope you don't mind I crop this photo more tighter but with different angle effect. I'd try putting one of the flash inside the car covering the diffuser with a color gel.
