06 RL with tech--front grill pic

I just saw/drove an 06 the other day for the first time and thought the front grill was interesting on the tech package models. It's apparently this way, I'm told, so as not to interfere with the acc/cms systems. This is the only big thing I noticed other then the exhaust tips are shallower the 05 and the nav screen has a list accidents option to select from the menu instead of just via voice the 05. Anyhoo, here is a pic:

I have to say that while the technology is cool and all, I just don't like a flat 2-D emblem print on the front of my vehicle...IMO it definitely takes away from the front style.

This is where the radar system is. It's actually like this throughout the industry with vehicles that have this "Distronic" feature. Check out the Mercedes' that have it. Looks weird.

I have one and agree with you. In addition you pay full price for the gold emblem package and you don't get the large front Acura emblem.

I think I like the Lexus one the best, doesn't make it look so obvious.

I don't see why everyone is doing this... putting the protectors on the logo... I'd much rather like to see it hidden away on the bottom.

I wish it was like the RX, which has it hidden under the bumper.

but not so hideous like on the previous generation of the sienna:
