XM Accts

I called XM to notify them of an XM NavTraffic problem displaying traffic speeds on Rt. 66 in northern VA. I asked that they credit my acct for a couple of months since the prob has lasted that long. . They informed me that my radio ID was linked to Honda Motors and not to me. They asked if I wanted the acct switched over to me.

Question is - If I leave the acct in Honda's name will they continue to pay for service, and if so for how long? Is there a benefit in switching it to me? Seems my dealer forgot to switch my radio ID over to me after changing out the unit from TSB-022.

It may have been setup under a customer demo for test drives. I would leave it and see if you get free service
