watch DVD on ur navi screen

I recently bought the nav2go unit so I could watch DVD on the navi screen. I'm going to get everything installed this week....but the only problem is that I need to get some source of audio input device so I can play sound..... What should I do now? I have the dvd player and nav2go ready to go in the RL but no audio signal.....blahhhhhh I heard ppl said that I could use USA SPEC PA11-HON2 unit.... anyone here have a sucessful story installing ur nav2go w/true sound as well?

Aren't the same devices being used by the TL usable by the RL?
I am pretty sure they are.

You can go in the same way the MP3 hook-up goes in.

I'm planning on doing this same thing with something similar to Nav2go, in the future and want to hear your results.

What about an FM Modulator? It's not the best way to get sound, but it's still okay.

If I do go with the FM modulator....which brand should I go with? How much are they usually cost?

FM modulators are definitely mediocre, but I've found the sound quality of Sirius to be pretty crappy (on my home stereo with a roof-mount antenna, it's worse than XM, for sure, and on some stations, worse than FM) so I don't think it matters all that much.

I have a Starmate Replay Sirius reciever. It has a built-in FM modulator, with a dedicated FM lineout. You can also buy an adapter switch from Sirius that goes in-line with your car's FM antenna. What happens is, when you switch on the Sirius unit, it cuts off your external FM antenna. This really cuts down on the noise and interference from other FM stations, and gives you all you can get with an FM modulator.

Note that I don't use this in my RL, and I haven't used that switch in this application -- but from past applications, those switches work pretty well.
