Using NavTool+MediaBridge for iPhone Audio and Video?

Using NavTool+MediaBridge for iPhone Audio and Video?
I just ordered the NavTool kit and a backup camera and will be installing them next week. My next step with the car will be adding either a Mediabridge or USA-Spec iPod integration system. Is anybody using a combination of these two setups to run iPhone/iPod audio and video through the car so you can watch video on the nav screen while listening to the audio through the car stereo?
The way I'm envisioning this all working is getting a iPhone RCA A/V cable that plugs into the bottom of the phone and routing the video cable to the NavTool and the audio portion to the AUX input on the iPod integration unit. Just want to make sure it will work this way before I dig much deeper into this.
