Okay guys, after doing some reading I am stuck on which route I want to take for my nav to video conversion.

I was looking at the ventura unit from auto toys http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=9231
They have raised the price on it (It's $280 w/ the longer cable for the plug that runs to the head unit)
I like this unit because it has video and audio together and also features an 12v accesory wire for a dvd player. But I'm not liking the fact that I have to go behind the radio to plug it in and toggle with the remote.

My other option is to go with a tv to nav unit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT and with a usa spec aux connector http://www.amazon.com/iPod-Interface.../dp/B002XW4DGU . Together they come in at about $340 but I can install everything in the trunk and there is no need for a remote to toggle between nav and the video source (In my case a dvd player).

Which one would you guys go with an why. Thanks

 

it says 04-05 RL, are they the same?

 

LOL but I know the unit works on 05 and up RL from testimonies made on here.

I went USA spec and Nav tool to do mine.

Good point. Hows the navtool and usa spec working for you? Doy you have to hit a switch to get to your video source? What source do you put the radio on to get the sound for your video source? Sorry for all of the questions LOL
