Switching Phones on HFL
Switching Phones on HFL
My wife just got a Sanyo M1 (Sprint gives her a 20% discount on all services). Is the following normal behavior?
Car pairs with my RIM Blackberry 8700g because the car was last paired with the 8700g. My wife wants to use her phone, so we say next phone. The car finds the M1. Call home (in the car phone book). We see the MID bring up the number, ask if we want to call, say yes, and MID is blank, except for battery and antenna signal icons. No sound from HFL. We look at the M1, and the call is going through, and is audible when you open the flip phone, but apparently not going through HFL.
Hang up via the M1. Use HFL to call home again, and it works like it is supposed to. You can hear the call going through the HFL. You can say transfer, and the call transfers to the M1 handset.
The sort of split personality only happens after switching from one paired phone to another, and only on the first call.
What is up?
Thanks in advance.
