Radio code confusion - multiple codes?

My battery went dead a few months ago and since that's been dealt with, my radio and navigation sound hasn't worked. It's usually not a big deal because I don't often listen to the radio, but I dug up the codes I saved, which I've used in the past, and punched them in. Navigation was no problem, but it wouldn't take the radio code. I figured I *must* have made a mistake because I know I've used that code multiple times in the past, so i tried it a few times, with no luck. A few months passed and today I tried again, but still no luck.

So I decided to go to https://mygarage.honda.com/s/radio-nav-code?brand=Acura and give it another try. Now I'm completely confused. I only asked for the radio code, using my VIN and radio serial #, but it gave me 15 different codes, and none of them match my old one. I'm already at Error 6 from previous tries. Apparently it didn't reset during the time I left it alone, and I understand you only get 10 attempts before it locks you out. What in the world is going on??? This is for a 2007 RL.

Call your local dealer with your VIN and serial number. I think there are 2 codes: 4 digit for navigation and 5 digit for radio. Some later mod Acuras only have single code. But for RL i think there are 2 codes for navigation and radio.

I stopped by the dealer today to ask them about receiving multiple codes, and even showed them a pic I took of the results page listing them all. They had no idea what happened, but they looked up the proper code for my RL and came up with the same one I've always used. They recommended I try disconnecting the battery and then touching the positive and negative cables, with no power connected obviously, for about 10-15 minutes to discharge the capacitors and reset everything, then try to codes again. If that doesn't work, I might have a problem with the radio itself. I've been busy today, but I'll try to give it a try tomorrow.

Also the navi code is entered using the dial, and radio code using radio number buttons after radio is turned ON
