Figured id post this here... just grabbed my first ever RL and my mind =blown lol 😍

Anyhow i have a have small (hopefully) issues, number 1, my shifter console charge port, the door stays flipped open. Is there a fix to get it to close again? Also the passenger door flap/insert pocket thingy, doesnt click closed like the one on my driver side. Fix? And lastly (probably more relative to the section) RL!!! Why you No have AUX hole?!??!?! Also where does one access stereo settings, bass, treble, balance, etc?

Otherwise this car drives like a private jet on wheels...

 

My other hopeful solution is, i found a junked kb1 by me, hopefully it will come in handy for some of theae issues, concerning parts?

Your main issue with AUX is that the 06 doesn't come with aux. You will have to purchase aftermarket equipment to create an AUX

 

I figured they had.... can you steer in the right direction with the aux thing? Where does it go, how involved is it and where do i get the stuff? I never ever and refuse to listen to the radio.... so its torture at this point....

USASpec and GROM are the main aftermarket radio add on units. Search in the Audio sub-forum for more info.

I don't recall the door flap snapping being an issue before. Not sure if that is a hinge or other mechanism.

 

Its not "snapped/broken" persay, it just doesnt have the pressure close function anymore it seems. For example when I close the driver door pocket it snaps or pops closed.... the passenger one doesnt pop closed anymore, just hangs open. Ill look into more. I got what you meant. I imagine it's a hinge, but don't know for sure.

No, i just bought those.... hahaha I have bought a cd in a loooong time. LOL I used to buy them weekly along with Source magazines, Blaze magazine haha.... to be honest, it felt nice breaking the seal and opening up a cd case again. Took me back haha....

Is there a write up/DIY on the USA-Aspec unit? Id like to try and install it. Would it give me audio bluetooth capabilitiez as well?

 

I remember seeing a DIY on here, I think Heavy was the one who wrote it up.
Don't spend your money on CDs. I have almost every good hip hop album from the 90s I can burn for you and mail it until you get your audio all set up.

 

Haha thx.... i have hoards of cds from that ers but theyre all mosty ruined from having been borrowed or no put back in their cases or something. I didnt want to ruin the eye by forcing bad cds.
I suppose i could burn as well... i used to burn mp3s like it was my business. People used to come to me for custom made mixtapes haha.
