Hey there well I just bought this 05 acura rl from a small dealership and turns out they or someone else before them had taken out all the speakers from the rl with just leaving the 8" sub speaker. So do any of you guys know where I can buy some stock speakers plus the tweeters and I also need the door speaker brackets. The oem bose would be nice. Please Lmk it's been bothering me since I got it.

I plan on swapping my stuff out sometime this winter, if you're willing to wait I'll gladly send it your way. Buying the factory stuff is going to be pricey for what it is.

There's only the stock 8" sub that's all there is for speakers

you'll need to search junk yards, car-part.com might be of help.

it'll be crazy to buy brand new oem speakers from the dealer.....
you could piece yourself a nice little after market system, consisting of two fronts and and an amp.


the rear speakers are just for fill and fluff. you wouldnt need them to create a decent sound stage up front

Yeah I looked up dealers price and it's ridiculous just for one speaker. I was hoping there was a junkyard around the cities or in MN that would have it, but I don't think there's even any acura rl 05-08 in their inventory. If I can't find any I'll probably just go aftermarket. What I also need for be the speaker brackets also which is pretty pricey from the dealer.

you probably could piece together two 6.5's and an amp for $250-300 and be ahead of the game in audio

Closest place that has a speaker was ace which is 600+mile I ain't going that far lol. I'll think about getting aftermarket speakers. But do you think the stock amp would work with the different speakers?

It should as long as you're putting in 4 ohm speakers. I don't imagine it's 2 ohm stable. However, I don't think it's the greatest idea because it probably won't sound very good, but I'm a bit of an audiophile.
