I was just looking online for something else, and came across THIS WIKI that claims to describe a method by which one can create a custom welcome screen in our Acuras. Have any of you heard of this or, even better, seen it done?

 

I would be more interested in completely removing the "OK Button" nag screen altogether.

I've changed the startup screen on my 08. As far as I know, the hacks to bypass the "OK" button only worked for the previous generation nav system in the TSX and 3G TL.

yep... I had that done to my 3rd gen TL.... remove the "OK" button and changed the startup screen... I still haven't got around to messing with the RL startup screen yet... However, I think it's possible to by pass the "OK" button.... if I recall correctly, there is a long thread on the TL side about this navi hack.... our system is similar to the 07+ navi system in the 3rd gen TL (white disc).... in order to mod the white disc, we might have to emulate what someone did to their civic, etc.... all I know is that the pre- "white disc", a dude named angry dad mod the crap out of it and no one have worked on the "white disc".....
