I just completed a MediaBridge install -- their install instructions don't tell you everything you need to know.

Some of these steps you probably did already, but things that weren't documented:

1) You must unplug the OEM XM radio harness.
2) Plug the Mediabridge "male" connector into the OEM radio
3) Plug the OEM XM "male" connector into the "Y" female MediaBridge connector
4) You must UNPLUG the XM Radio Anetenna from the XM tuner in the trunk. The XM radio tuner is on the left inside -- essentially above the wheel well. You must remove the left inside panel. (it "unsnaps" and is done from the trunk) You can bend it down to access the XM tuner. Unplug the BLACK 2 PIN antenna connector. [This step should fix your blending of XM radio]

Hope this helps, thanks.

EDIT: Example when the liner is pulled back -- remove the BLACK small plug: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-rl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-90/disconnect-xm-unit-830536/

when you unplug the antenna connector does the audio screen on the navi repeatedly pop up saying check the antenna because mine does this and its pretty annoying seeing it pop up ever 10 sec. also are you guys experiencing feed back from the speakers?

That's not good! I was thinking about doing the same thing.

With the antenna unplugged, if you change XM channels (nothing happens when you do) it does say something like "xm antenna" -- which I believe is what you're referring to.

You should be able to push the DISP button to change the text from the XM channel display to something else. I do not get track titles, song names, etc.. when streaming via bluetooth (I think the USB cable would work), but with my setup, the text "Device Connected Nick-Cell" scrolls by -- which is what I leave up there.

I do not get any feedback when streaming. Sometimes, if I'm not playing music, I might hear something through the speakers, but as soon as my stream starts, I believe it to be crystal clear.

EDIT -- I just realized you said the "audio" screen on the NAV -- yes, that does NAG about XM Antenna unplugged, but I simply never use the audio screen; always on NAV. I was referring to the LCD radio disaply on top of the dash. With XM unplugged, there isn't really anything on the audioscreen, unless maybe when cabled you see info?
