had a wierd experience-

i have one of those new ipod nanos.... it was in the same pocket as my key fob.

i couldn't open the door. i had to take the ipod out of my pocket - then the key fob communicated with the rl and i was able to get in the car.

also, the car alarm started to go off when i forgot about the prior incident and was walking away from the car and i put the ipod back in my pocket.

guess it is some kind of interference.

Hmm. That's odd. Just curious, how do you like the nano?

Aside from that - I have had problems with the keyfob. If it is in my pocket - sometimes the door just won't unlock. Or, if I put my keyfob in the cupholders and turn on the car - the car will turn on but will display that they keyfob is missing

 

I had my Treo 650 in my pocket as well as the key fob. The Treo was actually in my pocket in front of the key fob and the door wouldn't open. I then took out my treo and the RL unlocked without a hitch. Seems as if interference is a big one in communication.
