Check System error
For the past eight weeks I have been receiving a random " Check System" error in my 2011 RL Advance.
Once or twice per day this scrolling error text appears in display below the speedo:
''Check transmission, check CMBS, check ACC, check Airbags, check adaptive front lite systems.''
Pull over, shift to park, turn off ignition, restart engine and back to normal.
Has anyone experienced this type of problem, please chime in.
Dealership service advise to replace the battery and will.

As mentioned several times in this forum I have replaced my 100 months Acura battery that has been in use for the past 33 months.
I am keeping my fingers cross that my new Exide Pure Lead AGM will eliminate these '' Check System" errors.
Will continue to post.

Sad to report 'Check System' error continues to show up at a higher rate, more than once per day after I replaced the battery.
New higher amperage battery 770 CCA allows the error to show up more than once perday.
The old Acura 100 month 440 CCA allowed the error perhaps once per week.
I will re-install the old battery to monitor if the rate of occurance follows the battery.
Any ideas ?

OP, don't just throw parts at the issue. If the battery is replaced and the issue has occurred, you need to troubleshoot properly up the chain.
The issue has come up for me when the battery was completely discharged (due to sitting for 3 months unused). I charged it up and it worked for me.
For you it could be an alternator issue not properly charging your battery causing it to be under voltage thus prompting that message.
I'm highly suspecting the alternator because of that.

Terry, same thing happening here. I got the messages so I replaced my 2 year old battery. Only for the messages to return more frequently. Leaning towards the alternator issue here as well. One thing I noticed though was, it's probably because I would always drive with my headlights on (unnecessary electrical draw). I've started to leave them off (thru the day, lol) and rely on my DRLs. No messages. Turn them on at night and the messages return. Sometimes within minutes and sometimes after driving for 20-30 minutes. I'll test my Alternator this weekend and let you know what I find.

I am happy to report that for the 3-4 days 'System Checks' have not showed up.
Nothing has been done since I installed the new battery.
Errors showed more frequently for the first 2 days and stopped on the third day.
Perhaps my new battery was not fully charged or the car delayed in detecting new battery.
My battery supplier also did a battery test with a hand held device on the old 100 mths Acura batter and it past with flying colors.
So I do really think my battery must be replaced on the first signs of electrical warnings. For the strangest reason 'Check Battery' never appeared.

It's not unusual for errors to take a couple days to clear. Hopefully they don't come back and it truly was the battery.

Happy to report that 3 weeks have passed since Acura dealer replaced my SAS 35251-SJA-A52 sensor without any false alarms flashing.
6 weeks since the stroke sensor 33146-SJA-003 has been replaced without any 'Check AFS'
This problem plagued me since 04/15 to 09/15, my entire summer.
