I love my Bose CD stereo but now it won't play. I can insert cd's, eject cd's but they won't play. No error codes just the cd # blinks. I searched on line for a replacement but looks like I have to get the whole center console unit. Anybody know if just the cd changer can be replaced??? 05 RL

Yup the CD changer is a separate unit! I noticed everyone seems to be selling the faceplate with it though. Just be weary of the years and that they are cross-compatible.

Won't be a simple drop in fit. If you want a simple swap the new with the old, OEM is the way to go.

Make sure it is the CD player that's the problem though. Insert a relatively new CD and one that's from an album bought not burned on a computer, etc. To make sure its still blinking and not reading.
