Car PC Interface with NAVI

I saw this Car PC mod to a non Navi LEGEND. The XP addition had me thinking, with a mobile Internet connection, this would be a nice extension to the RLs NAVI. Anyone have information of experience with this?

nice! would be very useful if we could get google maps as a gps because it shows traffic on city streets, up to date poi's.

I had always wonder if there was a way to convert the glove box to somehow hold a slide out tray for a small laptop, and have it connected to the car screen as a cloned monitor.

Prob more trouble then its worth.

There was a thread on this in the past but it was deleted because it ultimately turned into a sale thread for the maker, violating site rules.

Suffice to say, it works.

And I missed it? I must be slipping. I am getting old,,,thoughtless.....*sigh*

Or maybe I was in Antarctica that trip? Wait...even the International Ice Station Polarstern had internet connection....

Or was it just the past few days while AZ was getting new Di lithium Crystals installed?

I wonder.....

Very fine line between information and advertising. PM will not cross this line.

The tray is not necessary. PC switched on and off automatically.

Users can adjust the speed of movement of the cursor. In addition, the implemented algorithm is a nonlinear acceleration depending on the time of retention. To control the PC can be used by all devices Interface Dial. The functions assigned by the user.

Controller GA-net+ is PnP connection with the Navigation Unit Alpine. Firmware GA-Net+ supports OS Windows CE\XP\Vista\ Seven. I need to have iPhone 3G for work to support MAC OS X. No technical obstacles...
