BT45ACU Review
My new (old, lol!) 2005 Acura RL is a great car, but it’s missing a way to connect my phone to the car. The BT45ACU seems like the best option, even though it’s on the edge of stupid expensive. But I wanted plug and play install and no other mods required so I grabbed one from Crutchfield.
Install was about 2 hours with most of that being running the mic wire. Pulling out the trunk panels, the back seat and the door sills creates a pathway from the trunk to the dash, I stuck the mic low on the radio tower, next to my knee.
It took about 5 minutes to get the BT to link up, after that it’s been perfect. Hooks up within 5-10 seconds, cycles through phone functions quickly. iPhone 11 Pro-Max.
I’ll update this if anything changes, otherwise it’s a good product.

Does your nav screen properly display song metadata? What kind of phone are you using? I tried 2 different BT45 units from Crutchfield and neither would display metadata from my Pixels (4a 5G and 5a).
