Question Iphone and iOS9: any improvement?

Whoever installed the new iOS, please let us know how if anything changed from the old OS.
More importantly, did they add the sending text feature?

I haven't upgraded to iOS 9 yet but you may find this article interesting. I saw this on Flipboard yesterday: Your complete guide to iOS 9 - CNET

I did install iOS9 on my iPhone 6. It works, but nothing different in the car. I can send/read text using the Siri function (same with email), but cannot link an email account to the car in settings.

I also don't understand if there should be a difference with Car Play on iOS9. On the Apple website it says Acura is a participant, but when I try to follow the Car Play setup, nothing happens. According to the Apple site, you should see icons on one of the displays in the RDX for Messages, Music, Phone, etc.

Dealership didn't know anything about it, but said they'd investigate and get back to me. They are pretty good about such things.

Called Acura Client Relations and they didn't know anything about it either.

I upgraded my iphone 6 to IOS 9 and handsfree link freezes. I have a 2014 RDX with Navigation. The handsfree message displays when connected to Bluetooth and stays there. The system reacts as though I am on a call. The radio does not play and I cannot make any calls. When I turn off Bluetooth on the phone it frees up the system again. I just deleted the device from my phone and the phone from the vehicle settings. I paired again and same thing happened. I made a call from the phone and it went through OK. I hung up and the system in the car freed up. We will see what happens. I called Acura and service said there is a compatibility issue with the new IOS. He could not answer how or when it will be fixed.
