Bluetooth sending # or *

Is there anyway for the bluetooth voice command system to send the # sign or the *? I would like to be able to dial into my voicemail system and check my messages without having to touch my phone while driving. Typically when my auto attendent picks up I have to hit the # key and then enter my mailbox number and password. I would like to automate this process.

If I am not mistaken you can simply say "pound" or "star". You can also say "pause" to enter a pause after it dials the initial number to give it time to answer.

Could not get that to work. Could someone else try it? I would like to say "call office" wait for confirmation, say "yes", and when my auto attendent answers be able to say "#" and have it send the # key.

I have my voicemail password setup, starting with *#

I simply said "star pound" followed by the number during the setup. One thing that is a bit annoying is that the dial speed to send the password is very slow, but it does work.
