Bluetooth Functionality

Bluetooth Functionality
I have a 2005 RL and use a Blackberry 7130e phone from Alltel. I have successfully paired the bluetooth phone using the HandsFreeLink. Here is the functionality question:
I was my friend's new BMW 5 series today and he was showing me his bluetooth dialing feature. When he audibly dialed a number both the number and the persons full name was displayed on his cars screen.
Is this something that is supposed to happen in our RL's? Is there a special settings so that my smart phone will display the names on my RL's screen? Is there a software upgrade that allows this to occur? I guess the main reason is when I receive internal calls it would be more beneficial to show a known name than just showing a number (I dont have that many numbers to names memorized).
Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

This has come up before and to anyone's knowlede this isn't possible. With the BMw (Like my Toyota Land Cruiser), you probably can download the address book which allows the name to come over. In the Acura's system, you have to verbally load the phonebook data (it's not coming directly from your phone), as a result, you don't get the name display functionality.

Jeremy,
GoHawks is 100% accurate and our Acura's HFL doesnt support this feature. My brother's BMW just accepted his address book during pairing and displays the names/numbers, like you described above.........for a car as technologically enhanced as ours, i would think this feature would be standard.
