No, just POI's and streets. Unless, of course, you're coming from an older version from 2005 or 06, in which case the ability to choose voices is gone and functionality is up.

 

I upgraded from original '05 edition. The nav traffic colors have changed. Now, green instead of blue for up to speed.
Seems like Nav traffic is also more stable. In my previous version, traffic flow would occassionaly disappear. Have not seen that happen.

 

what do you mean by "functionality is up"... are there any new functions?

 

Only those that were originally instituted with the ill fated 4.62. I think these functions are all cataloged under the heading of 4.64, which was the final bug fixed version.

The stuff we all know about, the DST patch, the one way street directions, the loss of the male voice, etc.

 

Any icons changed? I had a demo where the actual logo of the company showed up (such as shell, petro canada, etc,.) on the maps like how the Honda and Acura dealers show. Right now in my 05 they are just generic icons.

 

odd- maybe its a Canada issue, because my '05 with original navi disk showed logos of gas stations

 

Yes, there are a lot more corporate icons as you describe. So you updated to 4.73 and they are not there? Call Alpine and ask. My update is for US 48 states and southern Canada about a 100 wide mile strip. Not sure where Ontario falls in that strip, if at all. Bad geography on my part.

 

I didn't upgrade, its the original disc from 05. I was just curious.

 

I have 4.62 (Canada version) in my TSX 08 and I have icons for Esso, Petro-Canada, etc...
