Anyone using 2 bluetooth phones in the RL?

My wife and I both have bluetooth phones. However, only mine (Blackberry 7130E) is paired right now. She has an LG VX5300.

Does anyone know to use 2 phones in the car? I guess there would have to be some way to swtich back and forth from phone to phone. And what if both phones are in the car at the same time?

Please let me know. Thanks.

you need to pair the second phone and give it a name. When both phones enter the car you need to check which one got paired. Say "Phone status", the system will tell you which phone is paired. Not the one you want to be paired, say 'next phone' and it will move to the other one. Works great.

Also, for those who only have 1 phone paired... if the phone and the car don't connect or lose connection, using the "next phone" command will let the car search and pair the phone again. I use it when my phone gets disconnected from the car sometimes.

Thanks for the tip, this happens to me occasionally.

Bl;uetooth Phone Recognition in the RL

Our 06 RL seems to have no problems handling three bluetooth phones - mine, my wife's and our son's (when he is home from college). All three are different brands and obviously we have paired them with the car. After any of the phones rings once, then the system recognizes the phone and the second ring is through the speaker system with the ability to pick up the call via the phone button on the steering wheel. Our son doesn't always appreciate Mom and Dad listening in on his calls so he'll frequently call the caller back to speak with them.

He can just say "transfer" and it will be on his phone.
