my 2005 RL, I have placed a few items in the address book and within a week, it is completely gone.

I usually add address entries straight from my current location.

I am driver one, and i usually unlock the doors via touch.

 

Seem odd. Make sure "Welcome Driver 1" is displayed when you start the car.
If FOB2 has driven lately and did not lock the car before you drive, then settings will still be FOB2.

 

Is this the HFL address book or the nav address book?

Where are you saving them at? You have to go thru the setup screen to your personal information/address book and then save them there. You can also save an address once you have it on your screen as a destination I believe.

 

i have the same problem as the OP.
entered address in my personal info and presto....GONE!
