2005 - XM1 vs XM2

Noob question - I searched but didn't find anything.

Is there a way to change the XM channels available to each band? IOW, channels 84 - 222 are available on XM2. Can this be changed?

press the XM button and it switches between 1 & 2... same with FM.

OP, I dont think so... The value is in the presets not the channel range.

This is only for switching between two lists of presets.

Thanks!

FWIW, I bought my 2005 in March and the previous owners XM subscription is still going strong. I'm not sure why they didn't transfer it or cancel it, but I am glad they didn't.

When I sold my car I transferred my XM the same day I bought the RL and the buyer said they left my old service active for like 8 months.

It didnt cost me an extra dime.

I later realized he meant the XM1 and XM2 after pressing the XM button later and forgot to update my post.
As you said, I thought this only affects the presets.
