Hi can anyone tell me what the different functions are on the 2005 RL Key FOB. I can get the windows and sunroof open by pressing all different buttons but I would like to know exactly which ones I should be pressing. I was pressing different combinations of buttons one day and I noticed that my navigation's audio and climate control screen went from black and gray to blue when I started my car. Im not sure if pressing the buttons caused this but I did'nt do anything else. The screen was black and gray when I was in the car and then an hour later I was pressing the buttons and then went in it and started it and noticed the change. It looks better with the blue and also now in the audio controls it displays more info then it did before. Again I did not do anything but just press the buttons on the key FOB. Thanks for the help

 

Likely by pressing all of the FOB buttons, you unlinked the FOB to the car. That would explain the NAVI returning to the factory default settings.

You will need to re-link the FOB and may have to re program your NAVI screen settings and personal settings for that FOB.

To roll down the windows and open the sunroof, press the unlock button, press it again and HOLD until the windows roll down and sunroof opens.

 

Can you tell me how to re link the key fob.

 

The instructions to link/unlink the key fob are on the back of the key fob itself. To link/unlink the keyless memory settings, you push the lock and unlock buttons at the same time.
