'05 RL: Getting rid of The Voice

Is there a way to turn off The Voice that annouces "fan speed," "[radio station]", etc.? I've have my car for 5 years and can't figure out if I can do this. Thanks!

There's a setting to minimize voice feedback. I cannot remember the exact menu path, but if you have Nav on and go to Settings, you should be able to find it.

Not sure if this works for only Navi commands or car systems control voice commands or both...In the Navi manual...try this and see what happens...please report back.

Press the Setup Button

Find Basic Settings

Select Voice Recognition Feedback

Allows you to turn voice control system
prompts ON or OFF. When OFF, you
will not hear the voice control system
confirmations or prompts.
