No new forum for the 2009. The 2009 is still a 2G RL, it's a "MMC" (Mid-model change). We have heard from only two people with 2009s so far. Too bad...other than the front, it's a pretty nice car. Especially with Ronjon wheels:

^have you posted any pictures of your RL yet? I've only seen white or black '09s so far. Do you think the red color takes away from the car's elegance?

It would be nice to see real-world pics of the different colors.

^A few years ago, that could be said for the TL and Accord. Specifically the 99-03 TL and the 98-02 Accord. Same platform and even same interior pieces. As the generations continue, the TL is distancing itself further and further from the Accord.
The TSX is an upgraded Accord now, but def not a civic.

I'll post pics soon, I am trying to sell my 06 TL. Today my cousin offered a stop light race, he was in my 06TL with 34k on it. Well, by 40mph I was already 1.5 cars ahead and he said the tires didn't even peel...oh well.

how do you post pics in here again? I can technically offer pics from the original ebay auction that it was on.

Safety Car
The TSX is based on the rest of the world Accord.
While both are based on the Honda Global Midsized platform (as is the RL), the TSX is a smaller, lighter car.

The same here. It looks very aggressive. I'd have to put on a new grille, though...
There are finally aftermarket grilles out for the new TL, TSX, and MDX. RonJon is making one for the TL.

07 RL (non-tech)w/06 Nav
can you imagine if Acurazine created a section just for 09RL's it would be a very limited club...two prehaps three members discussing their cars. not that there are many 05,06,07 & 08 members, but there are at least enough to keep interest up.

Damn, that RL looks good. And its stock!
I still love the 05-08 RL, and it will still be one of the best looking large sedans, IMO. I didn't like the 09 when I first saw it, but its growing on me. The first picture of it on the street in the daytime is beautiful! It looks alot better in person or in the real world and not on some brochure. Dare I say, the grille looks hot. Nice to see they gave the 09 better stock wheels.

I never had much of a problem with the new 09 front. Real pics look even better.
I did not know they changed the exhausts from round to whatever shape that is.

I think it's quite useful. When you pass cars too close it flashes a warning in case you missed it. Much more so when ACC is enabled, then you can rest your feet without worrying about running into cars in front of you.
Not an essential feature, but if it came in a cheap package...grab it.
