What mod to do next??

Ok, So I've def got a bad case of the mod bug.

Here's what I've done so far:
*15% tint
*USA-Spec ipod adaptor
*hardwired Valentine 1 radar detector
*H&R springs

I can't decide what to do next - I've decided that I'm going to stick with stock rims (only becuase the rims I want are over $2500 with tires, and I can't justify spending that $ on this car with 46k miles).

So, what does everyone reccomend?

Here's my list for you:

--AEM CAI
--aluminum pulley
--stainless steel brake lines.

Have you posted your hardwired V1? I'd love to see that and to know how you worked it out.

I haven't posted any pics yet - I'll get it all cleaned up and post some pics this weekend.

The hardwire was pretty straight forward - I had it installed along with the USA Spec ipod adaptor. I have the power cord (you can order a "hardwire install kit" from V1 for like $15 which will give you all the equipment you need) running up from the circuit box, up the interior A frame and over to where the rear view mirror is - from there the cord plugs into the radar detector which is mounted below the rear-view mirror. Kinda hard to picture, I know, I'll def post pics soon.

with a 15% tint, u def. need a camera.... otherwise, you'll need to roll your windows down or use the "force" to backup your car at nite

Why is that? I vote Wheels before anything else. You've already lowered it...

I just don't see the ROI on rims for this car - while I don't plan on getting rid of my RL soon, there's no way I get even 1/3 of that $ out when I decide to sell or tade the car and nearly $3k seems like crazy money for rims and tires (I know it has to do with the rare lug pattern, offset, etc...but just as a comparison, my buddy just put M6 rims on his 335 coupe for less than $2k with tires)

I'm not as worried about other things like CAI or spoiler etc because the initial investment is so much lower...

But...if you're looking to sell your rims, I'm sure we can work out a deal

I'll tell you what I'm doing: waiting until it's time to replace my OEM, $230 tires, and then swapping out wheels at that time for something a bit more "affordable" than those ultra-bitchen i-Forged or AME racing rims (although the 23lb AME's keep calling me). If I'm gonna spend $1k on tires, I'll do the upgrade then.

In the meantime, I am accruing a nice pile of brake parts in my garage for my next steps.

Mugen CF spoiler is about 900$.

you are looking to spend 900$ on a trunk spoiler?

but not 2500$ on something that will drastically change the overall look of the car?

I still vote for wheels. You can do what I did when I traded my RL: sell the extra wheels.

If you want a cheap mod, try for the CAI, it improves the sound.

i'd have to agree with blazing. this change will help your car look a lot better. seriously rims by far is my vote. then later you will add the other stuff. thats my opinion.

thats what am doing to my car... once you have rims then you put rotors with drilled holes on it. and then paint the calipers. oh yes...

definitely not mine, I can't afford to pay more for mods than for my car...
