The only thing I could recommend you checking is in some cars (like my previous audi a4) they have drains from the moonroof/sunroof and if they get plugged they leak into the pillar or onto the floor from a drainage tube. I just bought my Acura two days ago so I'm still getting use to everything and catching myself up to speed on the car. Good luck and check that for the heck of it.

Have you had the windshield replaced or is there any damage to it? Water can be pushed up into the headliner and drain down the pillar.

I'd recommend you take the car in post haste. Within a few weeks, you could have mold damage to the liner.

I'd say the same too! Talking from experience with my '88 Legend.

I have had the same issue. My dealer is trying to duplicate the problem. It only occurs after constant rain as we've just had here in So. Cal. They say it's not the Sunroof. they removed the Front dome light assembly and found moisture.

Dealer said it was from the windshield. They resealed it and am waiting for the next big rain to test.

I had the same issue. When having the windshield replaced the tubing from the moonroof drain was dislodged and water came in towards the bottom of the pillar and down over the dash and into the footwell. The tubing runs down the pillar, but if dislodged the water does too!. It took a month or two to get the water out of the carpet - quite a few steamed up drives and lots of use of the hairdrier on the carpet. The main dealer carried out the repair under warranty and confirmed that my diagnosis was correct. It is easy to test - just pour water into the moonroof drain hole above that pillar.

Big rains the last few days with no issues. Whatever they did fixed the problem. I suspect it was the sunroof drainage.
