Two Questions - Front Plate / Calipers

1) How does the front plate attach? Please tell me you don't have to drill holes.

2) I noticed two different color front brake calipers when I was at the dealer. Some of the cars had a silver/raw metal color w/ the ACURA logo and some had the black w/ the ACURA logo. Is there any rhyme or reason here?

If you look at the front lower grills - there are two screw holes already there to attach the plate holder. At least this is what I assumed it was.

Maybe different color cars?

I have a pearl white, and the calipers are unpainted and mean as hell.

I thought the RL and TL shared the same 4 piston calipers, but after comparing the two, ours are considerably larger. While the TL's look like Brembo Gran Turismo's, the RL's look like the larger monoblocks.

Ahh, I didn't see that. Thanks!

I'm thinking this is related to paint code. I prefer the black calipers, but the cel. silver car I saw at the dealer had the unpainted calipers.

There's an Acura service bulletin and remedy....new pads and a new
spring gets replaced in the assembly. They also turn the rotors I
believe. I have appt 8/1 to have it done.....

I will tomorrow night, if everything adds up.

Either C. Silver with Ebony or C. Silver with Taupe. (Hopefully with black calipers. )

I'll share all the #'s once they are final.
