TSB for Transmission Software

I had this completed with the TSB for the XM. It may be my imagination but I think I am noticing a much smoother and better shifting car. Anyone else have this update performed and notice an improvement?

Me Too

The gearing upgrade provided a noticeable improvement in the responsiveness of the engine. The hesitation of downshiffting through gears on sudden acceleration seems to have been addressed. Just had it done day before yesterday so still need some additonal driving to veryify but I immediately noticed an improvement.

Anyone know what number TSB this is? I'd like to specifically ask for it to be performed next time I have my RL at the dealer. Thanks.

Current TSBs

"Anyone know what number TSB this is?"

It is Service Bulletin 05-027 and is called the PCM Software Update.

The other two are the Onstar Control Unit, Bulletin 05-028 and the Acuralink Control, Bulletin 05-022.

Yes, definitely smoother, and this may be a figment of my imagination as well, but the car seems more responsive and appears to pull a little stronger. Anyone else experience this phenomenon?
