A good friend of mine is going to buy a new RL in the next couple of days. He lives in NW burbs of Chicago and is between Arlington Acura and Mullers Acura for his purchase. Any input you might have on your dealings with either store would be appreciated.


He has priced it out through Edmunds and he's thinking $42,000 w/o tax title or license. He did factor in the $2,500 incentive, but I'm wondering what should he figure for dealer holdback? He put this number out to both dealers, but they stood firm at around $42,800. I'm curious what other Chicago folks have paid for their RL. He also wants to get the deck lid spoiler, but they quoted him $700 installed. I told him buy it on-line and have a local shop install it, my guess it could cost him about half of what the dealer charges.

As far as price - have you checked carsdirect.com?
