Timing belt kit etc

I'm sorry for not finding the thread re: the timing belt kit for the 2005 RL but the Search function on this site is worse than useless. Does anyone have the link for a post by one of our sponsors for the part numbers, prices and components recommended for this service? I remember seeing it but 2 hours of searching shows everything but on every model except what I searched for.

I also get frustrated with search, but using advanced search, you can specify only second gen RL forums, and when I did that and searched for "timing belt kit" (with the quotes included), I got a handful of useful looking threads. Didn't see any "kits" per se, but this thread has a list of the parts: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...iming+belt+kit

This thread has a kit, but it's uncertain if it's a good one (I can't get to ebay from work): https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...iming+belt+kit

Really, I'd suggest contacting OEMPartsTim and asking what you need. He gives a discount to AcuraZine members, too.

Thank you for your help - 5 hours of using this search function sucks. If these people worked for Google then they would have been out of business years ago.

Amazon Amazon

I have found this gates timing belt kit db22, but I am uncertain if it this kit is specifically for the 2005 RL and if it will fit? The fitment guide says it does...but I am not too trusting of Amazon's fitment guide....

Can anyone please advise? Help is much appreciated as I would like to buy this kit too to change my timing belt...

I've read somewhere that Gates is basically same t-belt dealers used(not sure). But personally T-belt is not something you would want to cheap out on. I'd suggest spending the extra 100 bucks and get everything from the dealer
