Ticking Engine Noise in a 2006

Ever since we bought the car, the car has a ticking noise that is very pronounced when the engine is warm. I am thinking it is a valve that is loose. Is it correct that the valves have to be adjusted on the RL? Or does it have hydraulic lifters? Adjusting the valves an easy job?

I am getting ready to take the car in to the dealer for it's 60,000 mile service next week to have the fluids changed, brakes checked, driveshaft checked. Then I am going to change out the spark plugs. If it isn't to hard to adjust the valves assuming they are adjustable, then I will do that as well.

What are the clearances?

Thank you.

Should be in the online pdf service manual in the 2G RL garage link.
